ENCAUSTIC PAINTINGS - Each piece shown below is created personally by Penny. The pieces are made by painting multiple layers of hot wax. After each layer of wax cools they are then fused with a torch and the process is repeated until the effect is right. Some pieces can range between 8 to 15 layers of wax per painting.
